It’s easy to be a good recycler when you’ve got the systems to make it easy!
This workshop will unpack simple, effective hacks to set up your home for success from the start. Covering the common waste items, how to sort them and handy tips to make sure our waste ends up in the right place.
The workshop will be delivered in English and Korean.
Please note that the workshop content is tailored to Ryde Council’s waste services.
The workshop will cover:
- Recycling 101 (learn how recycling works and why sorting matters)
- What waste where? (tips to set yourself up as a savvy recycler)
- What is recycling contamination and how to avoid it.
- Sorting waste tips (what categories of waste should we sort and how can we store and label it)
- Knowing your waste (how do we know what goes where including what is and isn’t recyclable)
- Simple tips to put things in the right bin (covering solutions for the Big 7 contaminants)
